Every July the coastal areas of Florida are flooded with lobster hunters trying to get their share of this year's bounty when the offical mini lobster season kicks off. There are two Florida Lobster Seasons, the 2 day mini season and the 8 month regular lobster season. The mini lobster season is always the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July. This year the mini season falls on July 29th and 30th. Make sure to always verify dates and regulations with Florida Fish and Wildlife It begins at 12:01 am on Wednesday and ends at 12:00 midnight on Thursday. The regular 8 month lobster season is always August 6 through March 31
Recreational Regulations. Required licenses include the recreational saltwater fishing license and a spiny lobster permit, unless exempt. There is a bag limit of six lobsters per person per day (in and off the water). ... A measuring device or gauge is required at all times, and the lobster must be measured in the water.

ALCOHOL SALES CURFEW-Monroe County is to require countywide bars and restaurants to close from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly starting Friday, July 24, through Wednesday, Aug. 19. Alcohol sales at package and grocery stores also are to be prohibited between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. during the same timeframe. Municipalities in the Keys may enact their own directives.

Throughout the Florida Keys, officials are requiring facial coverings to be worn by everyone in business establishments — a lodging facility, restaurant, grocery store, pharmacy, indoor attraction, museum, retail or clothing shop, beauty salon, health spa, etc. — and other public settings where under any roofed area, including an outdoor tiki restaurant.
Facial coverings are also required to be worn outdoors in the Florida Keys when social distancing of six feet or more is not possible. In Key West, masks are now required everywhere outside a residence, regardless of whether social distancing is maintained.
