The 17th annual Florida Keys Seafood Festival is set to take place Saturday, January 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bayview Park in Key West. Offerings include fried fish, fried clams, grilled spiny lobster, stone crab claws, Key West pink shrimp, smoked fish dip, lobster bisque, conch chowder, conch ceviche, and conch fritters. Hot dogs and hamburgers will also be for sale. Beverages include beer, wine, rumaritas, rum runners, water, soda, and coffees. Desserts include Estella's famous flan and natilla, key lime pie, and other homemade treats. Vendors will be selling their wares, and there will be a children's Eco Discovery zone with activities.
There is a $10 admission charge per person for adults, good for both days, which enters that person into a raffle for $250 worth of seafood. Children under 12 are admitted free.
Proceeds benefit sustainable fisheries management programs and youth scholarships.
