Walk On White begins at the Historic Armory at 600 White Street, corner of Southard Street, and makes its way down to United Street. Along this half-mile stretch you’ll find well-known galleries, discover artists’ studios, explore specialty stores & there are many global eateries to graze at along the way.
From its early beginnings in 1998, as an annual ‘Holiday Walk On White’, it soon evolved into a monthly event to promote local galleries & celebrate the arts. Walk On White helped establish this area of Key West as the ‘White Street Arts District’.
Be sure to visit all these fine galleries and studios:
The Studios at the Armory Erika Heffernan Native Materials Stone Soup Gallery Coffee Mill Dance Studio Harrison Gallery Shade Ceramics and Shutter Photography B.I.G. - Bone Island Graphics Gallery 1:11 (1012 Truman Ave)

The Armory at 600 White St is home to artist studios on the 2nd floor & has a large performance & gallery space that houses The Fringe Theater in its main hall downstairs. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places & was the birth place of The Studios of Key West.
