Nailtini Nail Bar & Day Spa

I was able to get an appointment same day. Amazing manicure with full set sculpted nails. Beth listened to what I wanted and helped customize a damaged nail/finger to match the shape I wanted. The salon is small, but cozy and clean. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed being there. Complimentary cocktail was a bonus! Already booked my next appointment.

What a great experience. Had my nails done for New Years and then came back for a pedicure. Nancy is amazing and Beth super awesome! Get your nails done here if you are in Key West!

I'm writing this not to bash Nailtini but rather to inform so improvements can be made. I got my nails done (I believe by the owner) and also a gel pedicure. I paid 195.00 for both services. Two days later gel on my pedicure chipped. I came and got it fixed free of charged which was wonderful. My nails were okay and held up for two weeks. One chipped as expected so I decided to take them off. I have taken off acrylic nails many times so I didn't think I'd have a problem. The ends of my nails were so think and covered over the underneath of my natural nail. The gel builder she used fused to my natural nail that it was close to impossible to get it off. I wasn't "ripping the nails off, I took my time and literally used cuticle cutters and nipped piece by piece. It was so painful. It took me close to 2 hours to get them off. The integrity of my nails are ruined, they are extremely thin to the point it is painful to touch them. I don't know if this was a product issue or an application issue. I know I could have gone in and had them soaked off but like I said I never had this issue before with gel builder or acrylic. I feel as though even if o would have soaked them off the damage to my nails and nail bad would still occur. The picture is of my nails post removal.

I never understood why people got their nails done until I came to this salon. I always thought why pay so much when they chip and grow out right? It's over a week later and though they have grown like any nails do Nailtini made sure to push back the cuticles just right to allow for growth room AND they haven't chipped. Not even once!! It literally looks like I got my nails done just yesterday but really it's been over a week so far and I'm still so happy.
I recently had the most incredible nail experience at Nailtini nail salon! From the moment I walked in, I was offered something to drink and was seated right away. Nancy's attention to detail is amazing; she was so precise; it was like surgery lol. She made sure to turn my finger to get the entire nail and made sure NOT leave that small annoying strip. Every time she went to do a coat (three coats!!). I got a nice scrub and hot towels on my hands. The salon's clean and chic ambiance added to the overall delightful experience. It's an absolute must stop every time I go to the keys. I left feeling pampered, and my perfectly manicured nails have garnered numerous compliments. Lots of color choices (I love Barbie pink). Nancy's truly deserves a five-star rating - she has set the bar high for this nail perfection! I was hoping to see Cissy but she is sadly on vacation. I never had her do my nails but when she is around she makes me laugh with some jokes and story's she tells. She makes the experience even better. Thank you again! Truly amazing. Very relaxing and professional. Jake was amazing. Loved how he massaged my head while washing your hair before the cut. He almost had me passed out in the chair. lol. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Very inexperienced and grumpy nail techs. The massage involved salt and a nail brush on my legs it was pretty painful. The nail tech only removed my polish and repainted however the skin around my toes was not cleaned up as I have had in the past. My service was $300 for two pedicures and a finger nail polish change. Very disappointed

Responding to the owner's response, I have attached a picture of the receipt, hope this helps you and future reviewers. To be fair, you are correct, it wasn't $300, it was $265. On top of that, the nail tech's 10 year old brother served my champagne.

My GEL manicure CHIPPED 6.5 hours after getting them done. I've NEVER had a gel mani chip so soon. That isn't normal, a good gel manicure lasts at least 2 weeks without any chipping. The reason I got gel in the first place is so this wouldn't happen. What an expensive manicure with such cheap results. My last gel manicure was $35 and didn't chip at all for 3 weeks. Save yourself some time, money, and exhaustion and go somewhere else to get your nails done. I made an appointment the day before, to which I was told it would be $50 for a gel manicure. However, only after they finished my nails did they tell me it was going to be $60 per mani simply because it's a day before a holiday. Instead of giving their employees a bonus they make the customers pay extra fees. Way to take advantage of your customers. If they told me that when I asked how much it would be on the phone, I wouldn't have gone. They also add an MANDATORY 20% gratuity on top of that, so I ended up paying $144 for 2 less than mediocre manicures. I understand the higher price for the location but I don't appreciate the sneaky fees. I also asked for a very thin line of glitter on the tips. She tried putting glitter on the tips but made the line probably 4 times as thick as my reference photo. Then after 2 failed attempts I asked her if it was even possible to make the glitter as thin as I wanted and she said no. I'm not sure why she ever tried to add glitter to my nails when she knew from the start that she could never get the line that thin! Anyway, I was fine with having no glitter but she didn't take it off with enough care which left my plain manicure with remnants of glitter buildup on the sides, which just doesn't reflect the quality that should be expected for the price that I paid. They also charged me a credit card processing fee when I paid with cash... I only noticed when I got back to my car, and I had to come back and ask for them to give me my money back. They refunded me, but I would recommend getting a receipt and double checking it to make sure they don't overcharge you like they did to me. I spoke with Cissy the owner on the phone later that day and she wasn't understanding to my concerns at all and was defensive the entire time. Poor customer service to match the poor quality Polish I guess. Also, we overheard one of the other nail techs talk on and on about how rancid her farts were after eating the wrong thing.... Disgusting and unprofessional and not something that you want to overhear when you're getting your nails done.

Also, I know the owner will probably respond to this review telling everybody that they bent over backwards for me when I arrived late. I actually got to the location right on time but the reason I was late was because the only street parking there was was 2 blocks away. I didn't just show up late without notice, because right when I realized there wasn't any parking close by I called them to let them know I would be a little bit late and they assured me that this was totally okay. This was my first time in key west so I wasn't aware that the street parking they said I could park at wasn't even on the same street that the salon is located on, and that the parking lot next to the salon isn't actually for salon goers. This place did not bend over backwards for me, unless you consider letting a customer come in a couple minutes late and wiping off the mistakes that the nail tech made bending over backwards. What I would consider bending over backwards is giving me a full refund or re-doing my manicure but they would never do that.

I had my first hair cut with Jake today at Nailtini. Absolutely fabulous. He listened to my complaints (very funky waves in back) and suggested how to work with this. His massage of the scalp was heavenly! I am so happy to be able to get my nails and my hair done in one stop.
